VI Fire and Rescue Services Group Picture - 2012

We the members of the Virgin Islands Fire and Rescue Service Department remain committed to ensuring the safety of all. We achieve this through a collective effort where we educate the public about the different strategies we can use to mitigate incidents, accidents and prepare for disasters.

To remain efficient, we believe in taking a proactive approach by continuously enhancing the quality of service we provide through various training opportunities. We take pride in learning new techniques that will benefit both the team and the Territory as a whole. We are dedicated to our mission and will engage in ongoing training locally, regionally and internationally to ensure we are providing excellent quality service.

We are experienced and equipped to support and provide medical assistance throughout the Territory. Our mission includes maintaining a respectful and successful reputation as first responders to emergency incidents.

In an effort to achieve ongoing success we are continuously expanding our knowledge in a range of areas. We are expected to be knowledgeable about hazardous chemicals, fire suppression, injury management, emergency medical services, arson, breathing apparatus use and fire prevention, to name a few.

We are committed to delivering significant core value service through bravery and dedication. By combining all these components of our core values, the department will maintain its state of readiness to meet all threats and challenges.

We aim to continually update the community on the progress of the department and in doing so we especially thank you for visiting our Website.
